Customization & Compatibility

The light is available in two architectural formats. The Square version measures W11 × H15 cm (4.33 × 5.91") and creates a compact, balanced feature for staircases, bedside walls, hallways, and smaller circulation areas.

The Long Strip version measures W10 × H20 cm (3.94 × 7.87") and introduces a taller vertical profile suited to corridors, passageways, stairwells, entryways, and repeated installations along longer walls.

The Square version requires an approximate recessed opening of 120 × 70 × 41 mm (4.72 × 2.76 × 1.61"). The Long Strip version requires an approximate recessed opening of 162 × 41 × 41 mm (6.38 × 1.61 × 1.61").

The final wall opening should be checked against the supplied recessed housing before cutting. Minor installation tolerances may be required depending on the wall structure, surface finish, and installation method.

Three control configurations are available. The Standard version is operated using a conventional wall switch and is suitable where direct manual control is preferred.

The Human Body Motion Sensor version automatically activates when movement is detected. It is suitable for staircases, corridors, passageways, and other circulation areas where hands-free illumination is required.

The Motion + Light Sensor version combines human body motion detection with ambient-light control. It is designed to activate when movement is detected under low-light conditions, helping prevent unnecessary daytime operation.

The exact ambient-light trigger level, motion detection range, detection angle, and illumination duration may vary according to the selected sensor configuration. Please contact Lubrel Support if these parameters are important for the intended installation.

Two colour temperatures are available. Choose 3000K Warm White for a softer and more comfortable atmosphere or 4000K Neutral White for a cleaner guidance-lighting effect.

This fixture is non-dimmable and should not be connected to a wall dimmer. The Standard version should be operated using a normal on-and-off wall switch.

The fixture uses an integrated Osram LED chip and does not require a conventional replaceable bulb. If assistance is required with the LED component or replacement support in the future, please contact Lubrel Support.

This product requires a recessed wall cavity and hardwired electrical connection. Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical and building requirements.

Product Overview

The Nordic Frameless Recessed LED Step Light combines a clean architectural appearance with soft downward illumination. Its recessed construction allows the visible face to sit neatly against the wall, creating a discreet lighting feature for stairs, corridors, passageways, bedrooms, foyers, and other indoor circulation spaces.

Constructed with a die-cast aluminium body and a stainless steel and iron mesh recessed housing, the fixture is designed for stable concealed installation. The Sand White finish blends naturally with pale walls, plaster surfaces, and minimalist interiors.

Available in Square and Long Strip designs, the light can be configured with Standard control, Human Body Motion Sensor control, or combined Motion + Light Sensor control. This allows the fixture to support manually controlled, automatic, or low-light-only automatic applications.

Design & Materials

The visible light body is made from die-cast aluminium, creating a clean and durable surface with a refined Sand White finish. Behind the visible face, the stainless steel and iron mesh recessed housing helps secure the fixture within the wall cavity.

The integrated LED is positioned inside the recessed body so that light is directed downward toward the floor, step, or passage below. This arrangement reduces direct glare and provides softer guidance lighting rather than strong room-wide illumination.

The Square version creates a compact geometric feature, while the Long Strip version introduces a taller and more linear architectural element. Both versions can be installed individually or repeated at consistent intervals along a staircase or corridor.

The Motion + Light Sensor configuration is particularly suitable for nighttime stairways and circulation routes because it combines movement detection with ambient-light sensing. The light remains inactive when surrounding light is sufficient and activates automatically when movement is detected in darker conditions.

With an IP22 rating, the fixture is intended for indoor locations protected from direct water exposure. It is suitable for corridors, passageways, staircases, bedrooms, and entrance areas, but should not be installed where it may be exposed to rain, water jets, or persistent moisture.
