Product Overview
The Sky Burst Mulberry Paper Pendant Light uses a natural-white mulberry paper shade to create a lighter, more tactile ceiling presence than stone, glass or metal. The visible paper texture becomes part of the design, making the pendant especially suited to Japandi, minimalist and relaxed interiors.
Four diameters — 30 cm, 40 cm, 50 cm and 60 cm — allow the same design to scale from a compact accent to a broader statement. Choose Black Cord for stronger contrast or White Cord for a quieter connection with the natural-white shade.
Key Features
- Mulberry paper shade: The natural-fibre surface introduces visible texture and a softer visual character than harder materials such as metal or glass.
- Four scalable sizes: Choose Ø30 cm for a compact accent or step up through Ø40 cm, Ø50 cm and Ø60 cm for progressively greater visual presence.
- Replaceable E27 light source: The LED bulb can be replaced independently from the fitting for easier long-term maintenance.
- Adjustable suspension: The 150 cm (59.06") cord can be shortened during installation to better suit the ceiling height and placement below.
Design & Materials
The design relies on the texture and lightness of mulberry paper rather than a glossy surface or heavy decorative frame. Its natural-white tone pairs easily with pale timber, stone, neutral textiles and other materials commonly used in Japandi interiors.
Mulberry paper is a natural-fibre material. Minor variations in tone, texture and surface appearance may occur.

These are the most beautiful lights. I have been looking for the perfect retro style lights for years, and finally found these ones. They are perfect and absolutely beautiful. The soft curves of the glass are so elegant, and the warm white bulbs give a beautiful glow in the lounge room.
Really happy with this purchase, it gives a lovely soft diffused light. I had been looking for a linen shade initially however couldn’t find one that didn’t show the globe within. I also worried that the paper would be so fragile it might break/ tear with handling but it’s more durable than I expected. Very happy.
I just love these gorgeous light fittings, better than the photos
They’re very beautiful, larger than what I was hoping for though. We ended up using them above the bed as they weren’t suitable for the stairwell
The light was perfect. Beautiful colour, beautiful style. Loved it so much
I needed to return my light. The response from Lubrel was immediate, polite & generous. Thank you for your service. Highly recommend this company.
What a beautiful shade, we were expecting something special but this was really exceptional. The quality and finish is amazing!
Absolutey love this light. Fantastic quality and looks amazing installed. Gives out a beautiful warm medium level light which is perfect for our bedroom. Service was phenonomenal. I had a query regarding delivery progress and response was super fast. Also advised by Lubrel that delivery was attempted but courier did not notify of attempt. Without message from Lubrel, we would not have known to collect. Lubrel provided the location of collection and screenshots of delivery attempt. I would order from them again in a heartbeat!! Cannot recommend highly enough!!!
The light was exactly as described. It was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I bought a selection of colors and shapes to be hung in a high central void area in our new home. Very satisfied with the quality and design.
I love these lights!! They look amazing in my kitchen and put pretty patterns on the roof
Love it! Gives our dining area a casual and warm feel.
Really happy with this pendant light. It looks beautiful above our dining table and gives off a warm, cozy glow in the evening. Shipping was fast, and thanks to Kiki from customer support for being so helpful. Very pleased with it.
I liked this online, but it’s even better in real life. We bought 3 of the 50cm and they’ve made such a difference once installed. The woven texture is beautiful, and when the lights are on they give off a really warm, soft glow. They feel well made, look great together, and add so much more atmosphere than our old pendants.
order took longer then expected and product consistency was lacking, i emailed late on a friday night as that’s when i unboxed our lights and within 20 minutes was met with amazing customer service and 2 new lights express shipped will definitely be using lubrel in future renovations their customer service is unmatched
We went with clear glass and matte black for the bedroom, and the light it gives off in the evenings is exactly what we were after. Warm and soft, but not too yellow or too dim.
